Unsuccessful diabetes management: a qualitative study

چکیده

Introduction. Understanding the experiences of diabetes unsuccessful management will help treatment team to plan appropriate interventions solve problems they face. The aim this study was explore in people with diabetes. Methods. A hermeneutic phenomenological method used gain experience subjects. Participants were selected through purposive sampling. data collected in-depth interviews and analyzed based on Dickman’s method. Results. Data analysis revealed following three categories: missed care, extreme poverty, recurrence Conclusion. Findings indicated care due laziness inadequate knowledge, negligence prevention not giving up pleasure, scary nightmare that associated grief insolvency. This phenomenon is a recurrent mani-festation disease may result incurable illness cripple. understanding demonstrates importance patients’ emotional informational support depending their knowledge altered mental status, which should be considered by health providers designing programs improve manage-ment.
